1) What is affiliate marketing? Affiliate Marketing is a method for advertisers -web sites that have products or services to sell- to create an online sales channel of affiliate Web sites that promote for the advertiser on a pay-per-performance basis. The affiliates are paid a commission when the advertising on their Web site generates a sale. The affiliate can earn revenue from their site, with little or no action required by themselves and allow their consumers to find the products and services they want on the Web.

5) How do I monitor the commissions earned on LanguageJobs.org?

All reporting is available online in a control panel that is accessed via your personal login and password you choose when you sign up. All reports are generated in real time, offering information about click throughs, translator and translation buyer registration and all commissionable sales. You can also get banners, links and manage your account.

6)How are commissions tracked?

Whenever we get a visitor through one of the links in the affiliate website, a cookie is stored in the visitor computer for 180 days. This cookie identifies the person for further visits, so if the registration as translator or translation buyer is completed within 180 days from the first visit, you get commissions for all future transactions generated by this member.

7) What about customers who have their cookies turned off?

Over 99% of all users have their cookies enabled on their browser (less than 1% of all users have their cookies disabled). The fact is that cookie-based technology is a reality that will remain a part of consumer tracking for individual Internet e-businesses for quite some time. In the highly unlikely situation where a customer has cookies disabled, the customer is out of the range of tracking and sales that occur cannot be tracked.
